Currently HELM 3 does not provide the facility the backup/restore SQL 2005 databases from the control panel itself. Hence, we need to perform these tasks manually from the server. To backup/restore a database on the server, you will need to open a support request at
http://support.softsyshosting.com/ mentioning the below details;
1) Your domain name or helm login account number.
2) Database name. For backup:
We will backup the database (.bak) and place it inside the 'db' folder of your domain. For restore: You will need to upload the database backup file (.bak file) and provide us with the path of the same along with the database name where you wish to restore the database.
