Log in to the SmarterMail 16 dashboard using your domain administrator credentials.
From the dashboard, click on the domain name for which the email account belongs.
Click on the Manage button to access the list of users under that domain.
In the management window, click on the Impersonate button. This opens the user-level management panel.
All existing email accounts under the selected domain will be listed. Locate the user whose password you want to reset.
Click on the specific email account to open its settings.
Click on the three-dot menu (usually in the upper-right area) and choose Change Password.
A password reset prompt will appear.
Enter the new password.
Click on Save to apply the changes, or Cancel to abort the reset.
Once saved, a confirmation message will appear at the bottom-left of the screen, indicating the password has been successfully updated.
Use a strong password with a combination of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters.
Communicate the new password securely to the user.
Encourage users to change their password regularly for better security.
