If you’re considering downgrading your hosting plan, this guide will walk you through the process, terms, and important considerations.

 

How to Request a Plan Downgrade

Step 1: Wait for Your Billing Cycle to End

  • Downgrades can only be processed at the end of your current billing cycle.

Step 2: Submit a Support Ticket

  • Contact the Billing Department by opening a ticket when you're ready to downgrade.

Step 3: Pay the Downgrade Fee

  • A one-time downgrade fee of $20 will apply to all plan downgrades.

Step 4: Complete the Process

  • Ensure that your new plan meets your hosting requirements before finalizing the downgrade.

Important Terms for Downgrading

No Discounts or Promotions

  • Discounts and promotions do not apply when downgrading a plan.

No Pro-Rated Refunds

  • If you downgrade before your billing cycle ends, no refunds will be provided for the remaining period.

VPS Downgrade Restrictions

  • Most VPS downgrades are not possible due to disk space limitations.

  • If you wish to downgrade a VPS, you’ll need to order a new VPS and manually migrate your data.

  • Contact the Billing Department to check the feasibility of your downgrade request.
